This is a snap shot view of some of the walnut burl cuts I will have available soon July-Aug 2009
We are processing a variety of cuts from 1/2 thick plates to 3" slabs for high-end gunstock blanks.These rare cuts are some of the most highly figured burl and birds eye grain patterns you will ever find.
We should have what you need and we hope to provide you with the best source of Walnut.
These plates have been cut for drawer and furniture door fronts, cabinets, table top inlays, and many other uses.
Currently the thickness available range from 1/2 inch plates through 2 inch plates. Many available.
Also available are small burl caps and blocks. More pictures will be posted between July-Aug 2008.
The picture below shows the finished color and grain pattern. Remaining pictures are of dry sanded surfaces.
Prices range for 1/2T $40.00 for small plates to upward above $80.00 for larger plates (18"-24")
These plates are flat, stable, dry, 8% MC, stored and shipped in protective plastic wrap.
