This slab was sanded for 30 minutes with a belt sander and water rubbed over the surface.
As you can see the color grain of walnut is truely beautiful, unlike pictures of dry walnut surfaces.
Many pictures on this site are taken of dry walnut surfaces which show light brown to dark brown colors.
Unfinished rough sawn boards show more gray then finished or wet boards. When viewing our pictures
of mostly dry walnut slabs or boards, keep in mind the finished color will be a truely richer color.
