Walnut from ID, WA, OR & CA These Rich color Walnut slabs have been milled from a log harvested in Idaho. The tree needed to be removed to may way for power lines in a small town. The log was cut within a few months of being down and has the clean white sap ring on the outer edges. The wood is very dense and is a golden brown color. Center slab Moisture Content may be higher. They have been drying over 24 months. .......Slabs MH1 - MH6 have ALL been sold........ The surface is milled flat with few chain cutting marks. Minimal work would be needed, a belt sander and hand sanding to get a flat smooth surface.
